Sounds fun, but apparently much damage done to knee yesterday. Not sure when I will be back. Bummer.

I am sure that they will close school before the 11:30 wod and thus render any wabangoing futile. Y'all have fun. See you tomorrow hopefully.

How does one maintain energy levels with the Paleo? That is something I heard is an issue.

Brenda,

I think Robb Wolf (former crosfit nutrition guru) would encourage you to experiment with increasing your fat intake: coconut milk, avocados, etc. pre and post work out. I don't agree with Loren Cordain's Paleo diet fully, he allows occasionally diet soda but anti-bacon (thats just wrong). I think Mark Sisson does a better job of explaining how a paleolithic diet works. (www.marksdailyapple.com)

Katrina, I personally like the look of the site. But I'm just one guy. Our resident critic Mr. Black Precise, (a hunch, I didn't cheat, I promise so if I"m wrong sorry Chris) of course hates it. Please chime in with your opinions...

30 Day Paleo Challenge is coming as is the World Rowing Challenge. Sign Up at the box.

Marc, Chris R. Eric G. any of you who have spent at least 2 weeks going STRICTLY paleo, please chime in or share your resources... thanks to Marc for sharing already...

This article should really go along with yesterday's treatise on squatting (loved it Mike - truly), but I found it today, so here it is. It may not say anything all that new, but I found it interesting. I'm also sending it to my dad who is worried I'm going to get hurt playing around in the gym.

i agree with marc.

i have gravitated towards marks daily apple more lately. his primal 101 stuff is very informative and easy to understand.

robb wolfs paleolitic solution podcasts are good as well. long (about 45min to 1hr) but good.

i will dig up my copy of the paleo diet for athletes and bring it to the box today. I also have some recipies / articles that i will burn to cd. if someone doesn't get a copy and wants one - let me know and i can shoot you an email.

There is nothing paleolithic about skinless white meat chicken. Paleolithic H. sapiens would have been more likely to eat the skin and throw away the meat. Fat calories were coveted for obvious reasons.

Thanks everyone. Helpful.

Unum is closing at 100p. Will have to see how roads are from Middle Valley for workout today.

I would hardly say critic. I made a comment last week that noone was posting on the new site format. It was pointed out to me that programming probably had more to be with it. I agree and look forward to the new and exciting evolution to get BUILT one blog post at a time. Geez, I feel like I just got off my coach.

This look is better. I can read it.

See you today at the box. I can't think of any workout better than this one.

I already gave up Diet Cokes for Lent. A bacon free lifestyle tilts heavily towards 'F*** Off.'
