I believe my lower back and this guys right eye socket will be feeling the same after this!

I'm kind of excited, although I am not sure how this is going to go...you know cheetah or deer.
March 11, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterCherie
My back just called bullshit on this WOD.
March 11, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterRed
I ain't gonna lie, that WOD kinda kicked my ass!

I'm more of a glass half full kind of guy. Just think about how swole your traps are going to be after all that pulling.

cancel me at 1215, have a meeting. 430 only if soccer game cancelled. Otherwise, I will be doing a 80 minute sprinting WOD in mud at CCS. Yann, CCS forward could probably out run that Cheetah. Does that make up for deadlifts?

I believe that's an impala, just FYI.

I'm getting all these calls from people to check out the Times today.. ha!

FYI, it looks like Mike is fixing the settings on my C2 rower, but what he's really doing is pointing to screen and saying "The next time you forget to Wabango, I'm going to put your head into this screen right here!"

Deer is a general term that encompasses various types of antelope, including both the Gazelle and the Impala.

You're right, it was closer to 60.

My browser won't let me see any of the videos (and I really wanted to see Yann demonstrate proper burpee form)! I was actually hopeful that no one else could see it either. Sounds like that's not the case.

I haven't seen the actual article in the paper yet but online makes no reference to "Get Built" at all! None-the-less some nice free advertising and all you guys spoke well.
March 11, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterTravis
is the article in today's paper?
March 11, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterLee C
sweet. full page in the Life section.

The wod turned out to be a real suckfest since my palms are effed and trainers weren't in sync on prescribing weight. argh on changing plans for me in the middle of the wod guys. however, I wound up going prescribed after all and getting 115 (79+11+25).

For Berube,
As you instructed, I went for 250 deadlift today (on the chart that is) - and hit it! 153x19 (I only did 12 at 125 a few weeks ago). See, I can take instruction well - if it's consistent (much love for Alley and Yann who I know realize I'm just teasing on this).

In other items, getting funny looks for having a jar of vaseline in my purse and on my desk - and Jeb suggested I go out and pick up some udder cream for these hands - that will surely go over better ;)

I read soaking your hand in black tea is also helpful.

On a brighter note - the luxury of a shower at the box really brightened my day (and I am sure my colleagues appreciated it especially)!

I call B.S. on Emily calling out the trainers. They're awesome!

130x13

60 deadlifts at 83lbs
couldn't thrust the 83 so, 18 (I think) at 63lbs
28 cleans at 63lbs
