1st of all Congrats Matt!

2nd WTH mike? This Yannuary thing has affected you greatly. I've never seen the next day's WOD posted this early. Something is up.....

BTW - I'm still sore from last week. This will be U-G-L-Y!

Congrats Matt and Family!

Frank what can I say? I think I'm holding a grudge or something. All I want is a Mounds candy bar already. And more than one beer. And pizza (Terminal cheese overload with crust by Niedlov's of course). I don't have anything else to do, so I'm left with posting wod's early.

is the "row" portion done with a barbell? Because that would ebe awesome!

Excellent thought, Bob.

This was awesome...(ok I am a terrible liar) 26:ish...would have been much faster if Katrina had not kept adding minutes to the clock while I had my back turned doing wall balls...geez

An extremely gruelling 25:55. Wishing everyone good luck with this one today (especially those still on beat-up legs from Saturday).

Annie is not OK. She's gained 20lbs since 11/29/10. Probably in a bulking stage.

Yann and Hope: sorry for leaving so quickly after the workout. I had to get back to work super fast, and in my haste I forgot to rack my weights and bar. Heck of a workout.

Z - "Bald Eagles rack their weights!"

Matt- Congrats

Annie- I hope you never recover because you surely are not "OK"

Cool, I just searched this WOD on the Blog. We did it on 11/29/2010 and as Maze pointed out the weight was 75lbs. My time was 24.23 back then. Guess I've improved. 23:16 at 95lbs. Now I'm happy. Sore and wrecked but happy.

Just got back from the doc and the right radius has a definite break at the wrist where it joins the ulna. I have a soft cast on the right arm.
The left was vague. One x-ray seemed to show a break, but it didn't show up in the others. I just have a brace on the left right now (to remind me not to twist it).
Anyway, I appreciate everyone's help Saturday: Katrina, thanks for getting the ice and wrist brace, RD, thanks for the water (that really helped for some reason) and concern, Chris thanks for tying my shoes and checking up on me (very kind), and Red thanks for talking to me, asking questions, etc, Mike, thanks for checking up on me.
Probably won't be hitting the pull-ups or snatches too soon; but when we have the run 400m and do 50 air squats wod I'll be in!

What did you do?
January 23, 2012 | Unregistered CommenterRyan B
Glenn lets have you describe the situation if you're comfortable doing so and share your 20/20 hindsight wisdom if you have any insights you care to share. We wish you a speedy recovery.
