The workouts appeared very diverse and seemed to require a variety of skill sets. I love challenges - both mental and physical - crossfit seemed to fit the bill.

I value the community at Get Built. This is the first place that I have ever been where I feel like it's OK to fail. Crossfit has a way of "pulling back the veil" and saying "here is everything that you suck at - now here are the tools you need to be better." The friends who stay late to cheer you on or help pick you up after a hard workout create the framework for that continuous process. I can't get that anywhere else.

I have lost 20lbs in six months while simultaneously improving strength, endurance and stamina.

Keep an open mind and give it a try. It's a lot of hard work but it is absolutely worth it.
