I am a sports and fitness freak. I love to play tennis, play basketball. Used to do a lot of road races, triathlons, and marathons. A weekend warrior! Love all sports! Love to watch college football! GO DAWGS! Love to watch anything that is sports oriented with the exception of NASCAR, ice skating, and sychronized swimming (not really sports!).
I was introduced to Crossfit when Audra, my wife introduced me to Mike and suggested I speak with him about my concerns which were my training had gone stale. Mike mentioned crossfit and suggested I check it out. My first day was 100 burpees for time (what an introduction!).
I tell people that crossfit is TWICE THE WORKOUT IN HALF THE TIME!. I get virtually all my needs: weights, conditioning, flexibility, and endurance in 20 minutes tops! I am 46 and am in the best physical shape of my life. Have put on muscle mass, gained strenghth, increased my endurance, conditioning, and flexibility. I usually try to make it 3 times a week and do some training on my own. You will see results in less than 30 days if you make it at least 2-3 times a week.
